Noelene Callaghan

Director of Digital Transformation at Education Changers & Founder & Owner of World of Minecraft

Noelene is renowned for incorporating the latest technologies and pedagogies into national and state teaching programs and is committed to the development of new learning spaces. She led the strategic planning of technology integration in over thirty new and upgraded public schools in NSW in addition to developing technology equity programs for schools located in rural NSW.

Noelene’s research is dedicated to using Minecraft and social media in education and her peer-reviewed papers in the areas of ICT, gamification and digital pedagogies are highly referenced. She is also widely recognised for her ICT skills and is a Microsoft Innovative Expert Educator, a Global Minecraft Mentor, a Google Certified Educator and an Adobe Campus Leader.

She is the Founder of World of Minecraft and is committed to delivering workshops to students to enhance their learning of coding, communication and computational thinking. Noelene has also tailored her program to support students with various learning needs so that they can flourish educationally using gamification.
