Giovanna Romeo

Giovanna is a senior leader and multi international and national award winner with over 24 years experience in multinational organisations in the Construction Industry for the majority of her career with Boral Limited and more recently with Western Sydney Airport.

She began her career in 1997 and has worked in  Operational Leadership roles in Human Resources, Project Management, Learning and Organisational Development and has led Company wide implementations integrating HR programs into enterprise-wide transformation aligned to corporate strategy.

Giovanna’s recognition includes:

• Finalist in 2020 for the Women in Leadership Awards (Leadership HQ)

• 2020 Winner Best Leadership Development Program, Australian Institute of Training & Development (AITD)

• 2020 Finalist Leadership Development Program, Institute for Learning & Performance (ILP)

She has successfully managed her career and her family life, including raising 3 children while still focusing on her development with making time for further studies, volunteer roles with industry groups, judging international and national award programs and on a personal level various leadership roles in the community.

Giovanna is an authentic leader and has devoted her career to the positive support, encouragement and development of others, the organisations she works for, the community and her family. Giovanna is passionate about giving back to the community, mentoring and supporting women to succeed in all they do.
