Safety Assurance Specialist for Cargo and Ramp Operations at Virgin Australia

Sophia studied a Bachelor of Science, Aviation (Management) at UNSW Sydney. Sophia took a keen interest in airline operations and safety while studying so has focused her expertise in aviation safety roles at organisations such as Royal Flying Doctor Service, Little Wings and now with Virgin Australia. Her current role with the Safety Assurance team focuses on data analysis and reporting, investigations and audits for both the cargo and ground operation divisions. Sophia is both inspired and passionate about all things aviation, safety and cargo. She is very passionate in promoting and encouraging young women to join the aviation industry.
