Ramp Service Agent at Sydney Airport

Alys currently works as a ramp service agent at Sydney Airport for Swissport. She has worked at both the International and Domestic terminal and serviced airlines such as Jetstar & Air New Zealand. Her job consists of doing all of the below wing operations such as baggage handling, operating heavy machinery, receipt and dispatch of aircraft, water servicing and so much more!

Alys has also recently been offered a position at Rex’s ground school which upon completion will become cabin crew for the Boeing 737. Her role will include being trained in customer service, first aid, self defence, and aircraft management. She will ensure that everyone in the cabin is safe and being looked after whilst on board.

Aviation is her number one passion in life and Alys is so grateful to wake up every day and be a part of such a diverse and amazing industry.
